Individual must be an excellent communicator with strong organizational and problem solving abilities. Candidate must have excellent technology skills including advanced MS Excel and MS Access, along with multiple systems experience (e.g. Oracle, People soft, SAP, BaaN, QuickBooks, etc.) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Duties include: analyzing manufacturing operations; analyzing manufacturing equipment availability and utilization; performing month-end cost accounting close; maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger; performing life cycle cost-benefit analysis; analyzing inventory valuations; analyzing, interpreting and communicating cost and expense variances to management; verifying cost allocations according to company procedures; evaluating borrowing structures to ensure competitive funding costs; exposure to GAAP and strong internal controls.
Experience: 5+ years cost accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics. Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or an accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) is highly valued. Multiple software experience is required.
