Inventory Coordinator III--Materials

Position Summary The Inventory Coordinator III performs a variety of duties included but not limited to managing the Inventory Queue, Short Buying, Slotting, Data maintenance, Cycle Counting, processing Vendor Returns, moving product from CWIP to stock, Recalls & Inventory adjustments. Other responsibilities such as transfer adjustments, receipt exception research and resolution, put-away, stock transfers, etc. are also key tasks that the Inventory Coordinator III may be required to perform. They may also be required to work unsupervised or within a team. Inventory Coordinators act as internal resources for other departments regarding inventory concerns. Additional responsibilities and tasks are assigned at the discretion of the supervisor/manager. This position requires excellent communication with other department members to ensure participant orders are released from the inventory queue in a timely manner. This position is a critical part of the inventory process and requires close attention to detail. Continued reprioritization of workflow is required for anyone to be successful in this position. Candidate must be extremely dependable and produce work that is near perfect in accuracy.
The candidate must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and working for prolonged periods of time while standing, sitting or stooping. They must also be capable of reading and understanding detailed work instructions.
Education High School or equivalent education required
Experience Previous experience with SAP desired. Significant user proficiency and expert familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) applications required. 3 - 6 years experience working in a distribution warehouse, preferably a Mail Order Pharmacy. Previous experience with SAP desired. Pharmacy Technician Certification is a plus.
