Event and Food Service Manager

Job ID: 6905 Summary: Responsible for Corporate Services including internal and external auditorium leasing, Food Service (Cafeteria and vending) and coordination of site management and food and beverage for corporate/management events. Position manages third party services such as full cafeteria service for headquarters personnel, vending and external contractors required for facility support of events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Plan and coordinate Executive planning conferences at off site locations. Manage event from concept through event completion. · Study current food and beverage service at Corporate Headquarters, and perform analysis to determine feasibility of bringing services in house- or outsourcing to other providers. · Create auditorium leasing structure to recognize best possible ROI on this asset. Recommend staffing for facilities set-up support and cleaning services for turn-key operation. · Work with Corporate Purchasing and Corporate Travel to identify sites and food and beverage recommendations for corporate events such as parties, Galas or planning sessions. Manage corporate food service provider operations, finances and compliance to company requirements. · Coordinate with facilities team set up requirements for Corporate Events and any third party facilities needs (i.e. power, porters, etc). This excludes Audio Visual equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities: General management of third party providers.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree (B.A.) or equivalent; and three to five years job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
