PURPOSE OF JOB: Acts as liaison between enterprise Centers of Excellence (COEs), Auditees, Management, and the business operations within Internal Audit. Responsible for providing support to Internal Audit Executive Management and staff by interpreting issues and working with the business areas to develop appropriate action plans to mitigate risks. Responsible for ensuring appropriate leaders are informed, and ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place to establish and sustain best in class performance of Internal Audit operations.
JOB DUTIES: · Ensures COE owners, Auditees, and Management are included at appropriate levels and that Internal Audit processes are clearly defined, provide value, and meet customer and process requirements. · Identifies and collaborates with related COE owners, Auditees, and Management across the enterprise. · Develops, coordinates, and executes detailed continuous improvement plans within Internal Audit to achieve measurable process and productivity improvements. · Directs the work activities of individual contributors. Performs related personnel management activities, including hiring, termination, performance management, coaching, and training.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). · 8 years experience in enterprise programs/projects, processes, analysis or related function in positions of increasing responsibility. · 6 years of supervisory experience or leading various projects of equivalent length and complexity. PREFERRED: · 6-8 years of direct supervisory experience or leading various projects of equivalent length and complexity. · Masters degree. · Prior military experience with security clearance · Proven history of managing complex and/or adversarial relationships.
